Every time I have a release day (and this is the third one, which is CRAZY) I try to take a moment to reflect on what this feels like.
"This" is the idea that I can do what I set out to accomplish, and that things are only as farfetched as you make them. Those are some deep thoughts from someone who has only slept about 45 seconds in the past two nights in order to make this release day happen, but just go with it.
Fortune is the first installment in a new series of stand-alone novels about the boys of High Road Divide, a world-famous rock band struggling with everything that life in the spotlight entails. It's probably a different take than what rock star romances have been built on, but that's what I like about writing - I can do whatever I want.
I'm so excited to share this book with you. To me it has concepts that stretch beyond any demographic, like the idea of creativity and what that means in relation to your self-worth, the complicated dance of family dynamics, and real love. Always love.
Also, it has a super hot guy with tattoos. CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH.
